Machine Operator

The machine operator, under the direction of the plant supervisor, will primarily be responsible for setting up and operating a roll-forming production line. This position will assist with other production duties as required. We are currently looking for one employee to work our morning shift from 5:30am-1:30pm (Monday-Friday) and one employee to work our afternoon shift from 11:30am-7:30pm (Monday-Friday). However, flexibility of shift is required. Experienced machine operators will be providing extensive training on the machine operation role but prior machine operation experience is preferred.

The location for this position is in Oakville but very close to the 403 and Dundas intersection.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Safely setting up and operating a roll-forming line;
• Successful completion of in-house forklift and overhead crane training;
• Preparing coils for daily production;
• Performing tooling changeovers as required;
• Troubleshooting quality control issues;
• Performing quality control checks;
• Working safely at all times;
• Accurately filling out production paperwork;
• Other duties as assigned.
