The Opportunity:

We are looking for a Content Creation and Design Associate to join our dynamic team.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with various business teams to create engaging content and support our marketing efforts. You will play a key part in designing visuals, social media content, editing multimedia content, and ensuring brand consistency across all platforms. If you are fluent in both English and French and have a keen eye for design, this is an exciting opportunity to grow your career in a fast-paced and innovative marketing environment.

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 3 days in either our Vancouver, BC, Langley, BC, Salmon Arm, BC, or Toronto, ON office and 2 days work from home.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day responsibilities are not limited to but include:

  • Content Creation: Develop creative and innovative design concepts, graphics, and layouts for various marketing materials.
  • Social Media Content: Produce engaging content specifically designed for different social media platforms, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Print Materials: Design visual assets for print collateral, including posters, flyers, and promotional materials.
  • Video Editing: Edit videos and support podcast recording to ensure high-quality production standards.
  • Asset Management: Oversee and update the company’s library of licensed images to maintain alignment with brand identity.
  • Digital Marketing Support: Assist the Digital Marketing Manager with managing e-blast campaigns and social media activities.

Qualifications:

Key attributes you bring to the role include:

  • Bilingual Proficiency: Must be fluent in both English and French (written and spoken).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-4 years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on digital marketing, graphic design, or content creation preferred.
  • Design Skills: Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva) to develop and edit marketing materials, including ads and brochures.
  • Video Editing Skills: Skilled in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) with the ability to produce and edit multimedia content independently.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiar with social media management platforms (e.g., Hootsuite) and email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact) is a plus
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to create engaging and effective brand messaging across various social media channels.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams, such as advertising, underwriting, and digital marketing departments.
  • Adaptability: Demonstrates a proactive and flexible attitude, with a readiness to take on new tasks and challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Brand Management: Strong understanding of brand consistency and the ability to manage and update image libraries to ensure alignment with brand standards.

salary range:

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
