Baker

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality products that meet our standards of excellence while ensuring food safety and handling practices are strictly followed. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Decorate cakes and other desserts with artistic flair to enhance presentation.
• Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Package baked goods for display or sale while ensuring freshness and quality.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet customer demands during peak hours.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries about products.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bakery or restaurant kitchen is preferred.
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including baking and cake decorating.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are necessary for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
